Show Your Support for Your Local Chamber

In honor of the National Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, the Abilene Chamber of Commerce invites you to share your messages of support on social media this Wednesday, Oct. 16.

The Abilene Chamber serves its 1,300 members by providing services and programs to help businesses grow and thrive in the economy. It also provides valuable quality of life resources to the community including the Industrial Foundation, Cultural Affairs Council, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Downtown Initiative, Military Affairs Committee, and the Abilene Young Professionals program.

Chamber member and owner of Uniqu3 Solutions, Jose Valenzuela, said in addition to the valuable resources the Chamber provides such as legislative support, tourism, and arts, his membership has directly connected him with friends and business acquaintances who help make his business successful.

“I encourage anyone that wants to be involved with Abilene to start with the Chamber of Commerce,” Valenzuela said. “The more involved my business becomes, the more doors that open and the greater my return on investment becomes. The life-long connections they've allowed me to make are why I proudly support our local Chamber.”

Share your own messages of support on social media this week using the hashtags #AbileneChamber and #SupportYourLocalChamber.

Since 1908, the Abilene Chamber has served as a catalyst for business growth, a convener of leaders and influencers, and a champion for developing and promoting the economy and quality of life.
