Abilene Chamber to Host First-Ever Virtual Business After Hours

Abilene, Texas – For more than three decades, the Abilene Chamber of Commerce has hosted a monthly Business After Hours with the objective of creating an opportunity for businesses to network. The Chamber is pleased to announce the tradition of Business After Hours will continue through this virus crisis with a virtual meeting today, Thursday, April 23 at 5:00 pm.

“Even though we are not able to meet in person, we are excited to still be able to bring our members together,” said Kim Bosher, Director of Events for the Abilene Chamber of Commerce. “We hope our members find value in our virtual events and that they are still able to grow and find connections with other business owners who are going through similar situations.”

Traditionally hosted every third Thursday of the month, the Chamber plans to continue providing opportunities for businesses to meet and grow through virtual events and online webinars.

“These are unprecedented times in our country, and most certainly here at home,” said Doug Peters, President and CEO of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce. “However, our 112-year-old organization stands strong and focused on our mission of serving the business community of the Big Country.”
