How do you give back to the community?
In December 2022, we hosted a Free Laundry & Literacy Day in conjunction with the Laundry Cares Foundation where 100+ Abilene-area families washed nearly 27,00 pounds of laundry entirely for FREE. At the event, attendees received free food, access to community resources, prizes, children's STEM and reading activities, and free books for every child. Throughout the year, Laundry Luv hosts several community events, giving out hundreds of supplies-filled backpacks to students every fall, free Thanksgiving meals in November, and toys for kids in December. We are also proud to provide donations and support for breast cancer awareness and survivors and support our local military families and veterans with special discounts and offerings throughout the year. Monthly, Laundry Luv partners with the Abilene Public Library to host story time in our kids Read, Play, Learn Center. We are also proud to send kids home with free books from Scholastic Books at every visit to our laundromat. We really mean it when we encourage customers to bring their families along to our safe, clean, and fun environment!
