It is with heavy hearts that we announce the postponement of this year’s Business Mercado on Saturday, Oct. 10 due to the rising COVID-19 cases in our community.
A new date will be decided and announced as soon as the planning committee is able to have conversations with the Convention Center.
When the committee first began this event, hosting it on a Saturday was about bringing businesses and families together. Our utmost concern is doing things the right way in protecting our community, our business community, and families.
We know that this will come as an enormous disappointment, not only to the exhibitors, business community, consumers and industry professionals who were due to attend the show, but also to the many volunteers who spent hours and hours planning this year’s event.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly and as we’ve stated before, the health and safety of our members and business community is our upmost priority and concern.
Thank you for understanding and for supporting these difficult decisions and remember – shop local, buy local and support your fellow Chamber members not only while this challenge confronts us, but always.
