I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand how our business community thrives when equipped with the right tools and knowledge. That’s why I’m especially excited to invite you to join us for the 2025 Economic Outlook, an event that I believe will provide unparalleled insights into the economic trends shaping our future.

I’m especially proud to share that Laila Assanie, a senior business economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, will be our keynote speaker. Laila brings a wealth of experience and an impressive academic background, with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University and a master’s in economics and finance from the London School of Economics.

Her role at the Federal Reserve includes conducting critical research on regional economic issues, contributing to vital publications, and briefing top decision-makers on economic developments. If you’ve ever wondered about the factors shaping our regional and national economy, Laila’s insights will provide clarity and direction.

The event will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hunter Welcome Center, Abilene Christian University, located at 1949 ACU Dr. This isn’t just an event; it’s an opportunity to align your strategies with the economic realities and opportunities of 2025.

This gathering is about more than just projections—it’s about preparation. Together, we’ll dive into the economic landscape for the year ahead, network with some of the most forward-thinking leaders in Abilene, and arm ourselves with knowledge to navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities ahead.

I encourage you to reserve your spot today. Whether you’re a seasoned business leader or just starting to chart your path, the 2025 Economic Outlook will equip you with insights that matter. Let’s come together to ensure Abilene remains a hub of innovation and growth.
