Dyess Air Force Base is proud to present the 2025 Airshow, "Wings Over West Texas: A Salute to Western Heritage," happening Easter weekend, April 19-20, 2025.
This spectacular event will celebrate aviation excellence while paying tribute to the rich cultural history of the American West.
One of the most anticipated highlights of the airshow is the world-famous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. Known for their breathtaking aerobatic maneuvers and precision flying, the Thunderbirds will leave audiences in awe as they soar through the West Texas skies.
But that’s not all – the airshow will also feature over 18 thrilling flying acts, aircraft static displays, a STEM Kids Zone, and interactive experiences for the whole family.
Attendees will have the opportunity to step into the world of aviation with virtual reality demos, explore military and civilian aircraft up close, and witness dynamic demonstrations from K-9 units, Robodogs, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams. Delicious food and drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the event.
Mark your calendars – the airshow runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with gates opening at 8:00 a.m. Best of all, this event is free and open to the public!
