Something new is brewing in downtown Abilene, and you’re invited to be a part of it! Join us on Saturday, April 26, for the first-ever Mayor’s Pub Crawl, a celebration of community, local flavor, and everything we love about our vibrant downtown.
This exciting new event is more than just a night out — it’s a chance to support local businesses and be a part of the momentum, helping to invest in our downtown economy. From locally owned pubs to historic venues and craft breweries, each stop on the crawl represents a business that contributes to the heart and soul of Abilene. When you participate, you're not just having fun — you're fueling the growth of our community.
Here’s how it works: Start your evening at T&P Depot (1101 N. 1st Street), where check-in runs from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. All registered participants will be greeted by Mayor Weldon Hurt himself. The first 140 to register will receive a FREE branded stein, and all registered participants will receive a wristband that grants access to exclusive Mayor’s Specials at these ten local spots:
Amendment 21
Big Country Beer Garden
DoubleTree
Fat Boss’s
Grain Theory
Ice House at LSDG
Peacock Patio
The Pour House
Primal Brewing
The Stairs
Registration is FREE, but spots are limited—you must register in advance and check in to receive your stein and participate in the crawl. This event is proudly sponsored by Abilene Environmental Landfill, helping us toast to community and connection.
