There’s no better way to kick off the new year than by celebrating the industries that form the very backbone of our region’s economy — agriculture, ranching, and wildlife management. Each February, we bring together the people, businesses, and innovations that keep West Texas moving forward, and I couldn’t be prouder to invite you to the 2026 Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo, presented by Lawrence Hall Abilene and Clear Fork Bank.

Join us Thursday, February 19, from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Friday, February 20, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Taylor Telecom Arena at the Expo Center of Taylor County. Registration is now open — click here to learn more and register.

Now in its remarkable run as the longest-running Farm & Ranch show in Texas, this two-day event welcomes nearly 200 exhibitors from across the U.S. Southwest and beyond — each bringing the latest products, services, and technology to support those who work the land and drive our regional economy. Thousands of attendees make their way through the Expo each year to connect, learn, and celebrate the future of West Texas agriculture.

We’re especially grateful for our presenting sponsors who make this event possible year after year. Gary Grubbs of Lawrence Hall Abilene shared that, “The agriculture industry is such a major part of our economy and life in West Texas. The Farm Ranch and Wildlife Expo each year is a great opportunity to see the latest products, services and technology that is available to our farmers and ranchers. That’s the main reason we have supported this event for so many years — because of the event and the impact it has on our community and our country.”

Joining us for the first time as a co-presenting sponsor, Clear Fork Bank recognizes the importance of standing alongside the people who sustain our communities. Tim Cooper, CEO of Clear Fork Bank, said the Farm & Ranch Expo highlights the spirit and strength of the agricultural community that has shaped our region. “Since 1883, Clear Fork Bank has been proud to stand beside our farmers and ranchers — supporting the people who keep our communities thriving.”

We’re also proud to once again partner with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service – Taylor County, who will curate a robust lineup of free Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses. These sessions will cover real estate, wildlife, and property management, alongside the ever-popular Town & Country Women’s Fair inside the Capital Farm Credit Display Building.

The Rolling Plains Cotton Growers Association will also host their Annual Cotton Growers Meeting & Luncheon on Friday, February 20, in the AEP Building.

And don’t miss one of my favorite parts of the Expo — the Annual Agriculture Legacy Luncheon, held on Friday, February 20, in the Capital Farm Credit Display Building. This special event honors the people and families who have made lasting contributions to agriculture in our region. Our 2026 speaker will be announced soon, and tickets and tables are available for purchase here.

Whether you’re a producer, a vendor, or simply someone who appreciates the hard work and heritage of our rural communities, the Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo offers something for everyone.

We’ll see you there, as we celebrate the strength, innovation, and community that make West Texas agriculture truly exceptional.

Onward!
