The Abilene Military Affairs Council (MAC) has introduced a redesigned Corporate Sponsorship and Membership program aimed at expanding community involvement and reinforcing long‑term support for Dyess Air Force Base. The new structure features four sponsorship tiers at different investment levels, opening the door for businesses of every size—to play a meaningful role in the mission.
Reflecting the MAC’s military roots, each tier is modeled after general officer ranks across the Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Space Force. The 1-star ⭐ tier, priced at $2,500 annually, provides an accessible entry point for smaller organizations. The 2-star ⭐⭐ tier, set at $5,000, aligns with what many long‑time supporters have historically contributed. For companies seeking a deeper partnership, the 3-star ⭐⭐⭐and 4-star ⭐⭐⭐⭐ tiers—$15,000 and $25,000 respectively—offer expanded engagement opportunities and preferred access to select MAC events.
Maj Gen (Ret.) John Nichols, Vice President of the Abilene MAC, emphasized the significance of the new structure, noting, “We’re very excited about this new sponsorship model and its positive impact on our mission. Sponsor proceeds are used specifically to support, sustain, and strengthen Dyess Air Force Base across three key areas—Mission, Airmen, and Families. We recently welcomed our first 4-Star sponsor, Clear Fork Bank, and we couldn’t be prouder of their commitment, along with the many other companies who stand behind our military in such a big way.”
Alongside corporate sponsorships, the MAC continues to offer individual memberships at an annual rate of $100, giving community members a direct way to contribute to Dyess’ ongoing success. As Dyess prepares for the arrival of the B‑21 Raider beddown and the evolving role of the B‑1 fleet, strong community partnerships will be more vital than ever. The MAC’s updated sponsorship program ensures Abilene remains ready to support these mission transitions—and the Airmen and families who make them possible.
