For the third year in a row, Abilene has earned a spot on Livability.com’s list of the Top 100 Best Places to Live in the United States.

Three years. National recognition. And a momentum that continues to build.

Awards like this are meaningful, but what matters more is what they represent. This recognition reflects a community that continues to invest in itself, support its people, and create a place where opportunity and quality of life go hand in hand.

Livability’s rankings are based on nearly 100 data points, measuring everything from affordability and economic strength to education, healthcare, and amenities. It is a comprehensive look at what makes a community not just a good place to live, but a place where people can truly succeed. Once again, Abilene stands out.

But this honor is not about a single moment. It is about consistency.

It speaks to the strength of our local businesses, the dedication of our educators, the impact of our nonprofits, and the pride of our residents. It reflects a community that continues to show up, work hard, and move forward together.

And that consistency matters.

In today’s competitive landscape, visibility plays a critical role in attracting talent, supporting business growth, and strengthening our workforce. When Abilene is recognized on a national stage year after year, it sends a clear message that this is a community worth noticing.

At the Chamber and across our partner organizations, we are focused on building on that momentum. From workforce development to economic growth initiatives, we are committed to ensuring Abilene continues to be a place where businesses can grow and people can thrive.

So yes, we celebrate this milestone. Three years in the Top 100 is something to be proud of.

But more importantly, we keep going.

Because the work we are doing today is what will define the next three years and beyond.

Onward!
