Every summer, college students return to Abilene with new experiences, skills, and the potential to become the next generation of leaders in our community. At the same time, businesses in our area are looking for talented individuals who can contribute to their organizations and, hopefully, one day choose to build their careers here.
With the support of the Abilene Regional Growth Alliance, we launched Intern ABI to connect those two groups.
Our goal is simple: to retain talent.
Abilene is fortunate to home to several colleges and universities that produce a pipeline of talented students. Every student represents an opportunity for an employer to build its workforce. Employers can seize this opportunity through InternABI.
InternABI is a curated summer event series that provides your interns the opportunities to connect with fellow interns in our region and across a wide array of industries. They learn important workplace skills from local young professionals and begin building a stronger connection to the businesses and community that invested in their professional development.
