Agriculture has always been at the heart of West Texas. From the farmers and ranchers who work the land to the businesses and industries that support them, agriculture continues to play a vital role in our region's economy and way of life. Each February, we have the opportunity to celebrate that legacy while looking ahead to the innovations shaping its future.
The Abilene Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome back the 2027 Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo, presented by Lawrence Hall Abilene!
Join us Thursday, February 18, from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Friday, February 19, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Taylor Telecom Arena at the Expo Center of Taylor County. Click here to learn more and register.
As the longest-running Farm & Ranch show in Texas, this annual tradition continues to bring together thousands of attendees and nearly 200 exhibitors from across the U.S. Southwest and beyond. For two days, the Expo serves as a place where agriculture professionals, businesses and community members can connect, discover the latest equipment and technology, and explore resources that support the future of farming, ranching and wildlife management.
An event of this magnitude would not be possible without the continued support of our presenting sponsor, Lawrence Hall Abilene, whose longstanding commitment to West Texas agriculture helps make this tradition possible.
Gary Grubbs of Lawrence Hall Abilene shared, "The agriculture industry is such a major part of our economy and life in West Texas. The Farm Ranch and Wildlife Expo each year is a great opportunity to see the latest products, services and technology that is available to our farmers and ranchers. That's the main reason we have supported this event for so many years — because of the event and the impact it has on our community and our country."
Beyond the exhibitor booths, the Expo offers opportunities for education, networking and community engagement. In partnership with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service – Taylor County, attendees can participate in free Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses covering topics such as real estate, wildlife and property management.
Visitors can also enjoy the popular Town & Country Women's Fair inside the Capital Farm Credit Display Building, while the Rolling Plains Cotton Growers Association will host its Annual Cotton Growers Meeting & Luncheon on Friday, February 19, in the AEP Building.
Another highlight of the Expo is the Annual Agriculture Legacy Luncheon, presented by Taylor Telecom, on Friday, February 19, held in the Capital Farm Credit Display Building. This special gathering recognizes the individuals and families whose dedication, leadership and contributions have helped shape agriculture throughout the Big Country. It's an opportunity to honor the generations who built our agricultural heritage while celebrating those carrying it forward today. Tickets and tables are available for purchase here.
Whether you've spent your life in agriculture, work in an industry that supports it, or simply want to experience one of Abilene's longstanding traditions, there's something for everyone at the Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo.
Agriculture is more than an industry in West Texas. It's part of who we are. We look forward to bringing our community together once again to celebrate the people, partnerships and progress that keep this important industry moving forward.
We'll see you in February!
Onward!
